Uptown Wayfinder

The Gantt Center is located in the South quadrant of Uptown Charlotte. The South quadrant is color coded orange. As you approach Uptown Charlotte from major highways, you'll notice a color coded wayfinding system in place to assist in maneuvering around the downtown area. These signs help guide visitors to various Uptown attractions.

Directions - Light Rail

Take the LYNX Blue Line to the Brooklyn Village Avenue station. After exiting the train, walk one (1) block northeast on Brooklyn Village Avenue towards S. Tyron Street. The Gantt Center is on the corner of Brooklyn Village Avenue and S. Tryon Street.

Directions - City Bus

Parking

Discounted parking for visitors to the Gantt:

  • The Levine Center for the Arts Parking Garage - Parking for Levine Center for the Arts is located across Tryon Street from the Gantt. The entrance to the garage is at 101 W. Brooklyn Village Avenue. Visitor parking is offered on levels P1 and P2.

When you arrive at the Gantt, please ask our Visitor Experience team for a discounted parking pass. When exiting the parking garage, use the pass to pay the discounted parking fee.

There are also other parking garages and surface lots within short walking distances of The Gantt. Please adhere to their prices, terms and conditions.
